A run's page

A run’s page follows one run of a flow: one case, from its start to its end. Open it from its row on Runs. A run has its own key, like a topic, and the page follows the run.

At the top are the run’s key and title, under Runs.

  • The flow and the version the run is on, such as “Security questionnaire · v1”. A run on an older version than the flow’s latest is marked.
  • The stage it’s in, and how many stages there are.
  • Who started it and when. When the flow’s own start began the run, it shows “Started automatically as” the flow’s owner, and which start it was.
  • Stop run, for whoever started it and for the flow’s owner. It asks for a reason. The run then stops asking and doing anything. Its work stays, and it can’t be started again.
  • The stage band shows when the current stage started and its deadline. Earlier stages show when they ended. Skipped stages are marked.

Record and the record’s key, at the end of the tab strip, opens the topic the run writes. People answer the run’s requests there too.

Now shows what waits on you, and where the run is.

  • Waiting on you: what the run asks of you, to answer right here. When it waits on someone else, the heading names them. With nothing for you, it says “Nothing is waiting on you.”
  • Roles: who holds each of the flow’s roles in this run. When the flow lets a role be handed over, its holder, the run’s starter or the flow’s owner can pass it on with Hand over. The new holder gets everything that waited on the previous one, and the history records it.
  • Sub-runs: runs of other flows that a step of this run started, each giving its result back to that step.
  • The flow’s map, with each step’s state: done, started, waiting on someone, or not reached yet. Click a step to see what went into it and what came out.
  • Agent judgements: where the agent checked a value against a rule, and if the value passes. Whoever the flow names for the step can Overrule a judgement that’s wrong, with a reason.

Inputs and outputs shows each value the run holds, what it is now and where it came from. A value comes from someone, from the agent’s draft you confirm, or from a tool. Each also shows its state and its versions. A value kept to the run’s people shows “Hidden from you” to anyone else.

History lists, in order, who answered what, what the agent drafted, what was sent, and who moved or stopped the run. Under it, Results says what the run made. It names the record and how many notices and requests the run sent. The requests reached people’s Inbox and the record.

You can open a run when you can read its record. The people a run asks something can always read its record and answer.
